Who I am

This site belongs to Tyler Odell, a freelance video editor trading as Tyler Odell Creative, based in Nottingham, UK. I’m responsible for anything you send me through it. If you have a question about your details, email hello@tylerodell.co.uk.

What I collect

Only what you choose to send me:

• your name and email address
• what you need and anything you write in your message
• anything you include if you email me directly

The site doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. I count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn’t use cookies or identify you.

Why I use it

To reply to your enquiry, quote for the work and, if we work together, run the project and send invoices. I won’t add you to a mailing list or pass your details to anyone to market to you.

Who else handles it

• Formspree delivers messages from the enquiry form to my inbox.
• Google Workspace hosts my email.
• Cloudflare hosts this website and provides the visit counts.

Some of these companies may process data outside the UK. They use safeguards approved under UK data protection law to do this.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that don’t turn into work are deleted within two years. If we work together, I keep project and invoice records for six years, because UK tax rules require it.

Your rights

You can ask to see the details I hold about you, have them corrected or deleted, or object to how I use them. Email me and I’ll sort it within a month. If you’re not happy with my response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
